Amazon Prime Big Deal Days 2026 Preview: The Fall Deals Everyone Should Watch
Fall shopping season is officially here — and Amazon is about to make things interesting.
Amazon Prime Big Deal Days returns October 6–7, 2026, kicking off two days of Prime-member savings across more than 35 categories, including fashion, beauty, home, kitchen, electronics and holiday gifting.
But we're not waiting until October 6 to start looking.
Early offers are already beginning to appear, which means now is the time to make the list — not necessarily empty the cart.
This year, The Hollow Quill is approaching Prime Big Deal Days a little differently. Instead of throwing hundreds of discounted products onto one page simply because they're on sale, I'm looking for the things that actually make sense for women over 40 heading into fall: pieces that make home cozier, beauty products we'll actually finish, wearable fall staples, useful kitchen upgrades and early holiday purchases that can save us from the December scramble.

1. Prime Big Deal Days Returns October 6–7
First, the details.
Prime Big Deal Days begins October 6 at 12:01 a.m. PDT and continues through October 7.
Amazon has announced savings across more than 35 categories, including up to 45% off fall apparel and shoes, up to 35% off cozy bedding, blankets and holiday décor, and up to 30% off game-day hosting and tailgating gear.
And some recognizable names are already attached to Amazon's event announcements.
Brands Amazon is highlighting include Tarte, adidas, Sony, Caraway, Dove, Dyson, Hunter, Princess Polly, Soundcore by Anker, Shark, Canon, Fisher-Price and Play-Doh, among others.
Amazon is also planning limited-time deal drops three times each day during the event, so this isn't going to be a sale where we check once in the morning and assume we've seen everything.

3. The Cozy Home Edit

September always creates that urge to reset the house.
The lightweight summer bedding suddenly feels a little too light. Throw blankets migrate back onto the sofa. Candles come out. The kitchen starts feeling like somewhere we want to spend a Saturday afternoon again.

Bedsure is one of the first Amazon home brands I'd check for affordable bedding and cozy layers.
Look for:

Pillow covers
A caramel, chocolate, oatmeal, olive or rust throw can completely change the feeling of a neutral room without requiring a full seasonal makeover.
CARAWAY
For something a little more elevated, Caraway is officially on my watchlist.
Amazon specifically highlighted Caraway among the trending brands surrounding this year's event.
Cookware also happens to make sense right now because we're heading directly into soup, stew, Sunday dinner and holiday-hosting season.
DYSON
And then there's the big-ticket watch.
Dyson.
Amazon has named Dyson among the recognizable brands associated with Prime Big Deal Days, making this one category where I'd absolutely compare prices before purchasing.
Vacuums and floor-care products aren't glamorous fall purchases.
But a really good discount on something you've already been planning to buy?
That's exactly where these shopping events can make sense.

Prime Big Deal Days can be dangerous territory for the beauty cabinet.
Do I need another serum simply because TikTok likes it?
Probably not.
At this stage, I'm much more interested in beauty products that earn their space on the bathroom counter.
That means hydration, skin-barrier support, SPF, body care, hair treatments and makeup staples we genuinely use.
And this year, there's one beauty brand I'm watching especially closely.

Amazon has specifically named Tarte among brands connected with some of the larger savings surrounding Prime Big Deal Days.
That does not mean every Tarte product will receive the same discount, so we'll be watching individual prices as the event begins.
